Every user account is put under review before they can bid on any auction. We are an 18+ site and must verify age and the identity for every user. This helps protect users against fraud and upholds the integrity of our platform based on the KYC(Know Your Customer) requirements.

Accounts will typically be approved within 48 hours of us receiving the KYC(Know Your Customer) required identity verification documents. Clear images of a government-issued photo ID as well as a second clear image of you holding said ID next to your face are required. Both must be uploaded to your account for account approval. KYC(Know Your Customer) requirements help us to establish our customer's identity and maintain the integrity of our auction platform.

When you place a bid of $999, it means you are willing to go as high as $999, this is called a proxy bid. However, the current price of the auction is only $455 because the 2nd highest bid is only $445. So, if someone bids $500, we will automatically increase your bid to $510. And if someone bids $700, we will increase your bid to $710. We do it this way so that you can place your maximum bid, but you will only be charged the winning auction price. Proxy bids protect you from overpaying.

Bids cannot be canceled. Once an auction has been won, you cannot cancel or receive a refund for your purchase. We take the integrity of our auction platform seriously. Before you bid, make sure you do your research. Each bid submitted is considered a binding contract.

If a bid is placed on an auction when there is less than one hour left in the auction, the close time is automatically updated to one hour after the last bid. We do this to prevent sniping, and to make sure everyone gets a fair chance at bidding on the domain name.

Auction time is based on eastern standard (ET) time.
